People worth meeting, plans worth keeping.
The Network is an agent you text. Tell it what you are looking for. It finds people, small groups and plans that fit, and it asks you first. Nobody is introduced unless both people say yes.
The apps
The Network answers one question at a time. Each app asks a narrower one: who to date, who to befriend, who to work with.
Love
slop.date
Dating by text in New York City. One introduction at a time, only when you both say yes. Matching and photos are for adults 18 and older.
Friendship
friends.help
Make friends in New York City: small groups and plans at public places, near where you live.
Work
peon.biz
Introductions between people looking for work and teams that are hiring. Waitlist for now.
All of these apps are powered by The Network.
What every app shares
- One login. Your phone number, confirmed with a code that we text to you. You enter the code yourself, on our page.
- Consent first. The agent asks you before any introduction. A person on our team checks every introduction before we send it.
- Apps are kept apart. What you tell one app stays in that app. Nothing moves to another app unless you say so. Dating details never move, even if you ask.
- You stay in control. Text STOP to stop every text from us. Text "leave" and an app name, for example "leave slop.date", to stop one app. Export or delete your data on any app's settings page.
Who can join
Anyone 13 or older can join any app. Matching is for adults 18 and older, in every app. Members aged 13 to 17 get help from the agent for themselves, but they are never matched, introduced, grouped or connected with anyone. On slop.date, photos are only for verified adults.
How it works
- Join an app on its site, or text our number with the app's name. The Network itself is invite-only for now: a member you know can invite you. There is no sign-up form for The Network; here is how joining works.
- You text with the agent over iMessage or SMS. It asks a few questions and learns what you want.
- When there's a good fit, it asks you first. Introductions only happen when both people say yes, and you message through The Network until you both choose to share numbers.
For AI assistants
If you use an AI assistant, it can read our skill file to explain The Network and its apps and give you a join link. It never signs anyone up, and it never sees your phone number or your code.
What a conversation looks like
A replay from a simulated test run. The people and messages are made up.
Text messaging program
How you opt in. You opt in when you text our number first (with an app keyword such as "slop", "friends" or "peon", or with no keyword to join The Network itself), when you join on an app's join page and tick the consent box, or when you accept an invitation from a member or from our team, by replying to our first message or on the invitation page. Each way, you agree to receive text messages at the number you provide. The opt-in wording you agreed to is recorded with the date and time.
What we send. Conversational messages from The Network's agent: replies to you, introductions and plans you asked for, scheduling, reminders and check-ins for plans you accepted, and occasional suggestions within the limits you set. Message frequency varies with how you use the service; by default, unsolicited suggestions are capped at two per week, and we never text during quiet hours in your time zone.
Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop every text from our number, for The Network and every app it powers; you'll get one confirmation and nothing else. To stop one app only, text leave and the app name, for example "leave slop.date". Reply START to resume. You can also stop messages, export your data or delete it on the settings page. Reply HELP for help, or email help@ntwrk.love.
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell your mobile number. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our privacy policy and terms.
